Land hunt.
Welcome back to the Scuttlebutt. I tell you, if you’ve never hunted for land in a new place, where you aren’t governed by “I need to live within X miles of work, or family, or…” becomes a LOT of work.
We got in to Tennessee a day late due to the storm that socked the shit out of Kentucky while we were going through there, so the day where I normally write this has been spent driving a couple hundred miles around the back woods of TN looking at possible landing pads.
As a result this is going to be a damn short post.
It looks like Joe’s handlers are doing everything they possibly can to throw shit into the game, and mess up the nation before Trump takes charge. Not surprised here, just depressed that we gotta play this silly game of spitting in shoes, and pissing in cokes.
These same handlers will be “shocked and appalled” when Trump’s people go after them in a revenge lawfare attack, and claim that “he’s spoiling the dignity of the office.” As if there was any dignity left after Joe “I shit myself in front of the Pope” Biden has been there. Sigh.
Exhibits of this abound, from:
“The Biden administration released nearly a dozen detainees in its latest move, bringing the facility’s population to its lowest level ever.” (Politico, National security brief, 1/7/25)
To the Micky Mouse bullshit of continuing to try and make Trump officially a felon in NY, even though they won’t try and punish him.
For an incomplete, yet rather comprehensive list, I suggest you go take a look at Tom Knighton’s
Then we’ve got the shame filled list of “Presidential Citizen’s medals” and other presidential awards Joe handed out on the order of his handlers… All of which is, I guess, supposed to make it unconscionable for the Trump DOJ to try these fuckers for various crimes.
Guess what Joe, that just makes the irony more ironic. I especially look forward to seeing Liz answering questions in the witness box.
Tom K also had a rather on point piece on Facebook’s changing perspective on “Who should we be sucking off, to keep the money flowing?” at
Look, let there be no mistake. This is not a sea change for Fuckerburg. This is a business decision, to protect his gravy train. He’s a windsock, (Well, actually he’s a patrol sock, [ask a submariner] but that’s another story) he swings what ever way the wind blows. I think I might respect him more, if he actually showed the courage of his convictions, wrong though they are.
Then there’s Sal’s latest article on the PRC, incase anyone is still naive enough to think they’re not gunning for us, in a real sense of the word “gunning”
So, I’m going to quit now, as I’m a bit burnt out, but lest I forget, Please notice the cup at the tip jar Where we restock the bar. Trust me when I say I need it tonight, one of the places we were looking at, was a mile walk in to see, because the bridge wouldn’t handle the jeep.
QOTD: "This is unspeakably dangerous as terror threats are on the rise. This shameful action by Biden brings more danger to the American people." Senate Foreign relations committee post on X.
Second bonus QOTD: "It should be noted that [Mondays] proceeding was the first time no Democrat objected to the certification of a Republican president since the certification of George H.W. Bush in 1989." —Byron York
