Great post. Worked for DoW(D) for 48 years. Active duty pilot, attache, contractor, GS. You know from where you speak, Sir. During the current president's first term, I noticed something. Many senior flags and SESs were openly...less than respectful towards the then president. No one challenged them. Ironically, the things they were...criticizing the then president for, were character traits and treatment of subordinates that they themselves exhibited...in spades. When the Biden administration came in, ALL criticism was verboten. It got to the point that hoping he was alright after taking a spill on the stage at my alma mater could get you reported to J1...and did. That was airtight narrative control...until it wasn't (see first presidential debate and fallout from thence). I need to check out this Gato Malo...with a clear and skeptical eye, of course.

Thank you sir, You have me by seven years on DoW. I did 20 Active, and 21 as a sillyvillian. Bad Cat is a little long winded at times (and this is me saying that) and some of his posts start out with things that will make you say WTF? Keep reading... His style is to put the outrageous up front, and then take you to how he got there, instead of taking you down the path to the end. I don't always agree with him 100% but then I don't even always agree with ME 100%

100% agree. Take nothing a face value, look under the plate the food is on, etc. "Evidence" is the verified video, aircraft wreckage (three accident investigations as pilot board member...ugh)...witness testimony is data that MIGHT become informative pending verification. Keep up the good work.

Thank you again. Yeah I wouldn't want to do the accident investigation on an aircraft for anything in the world. I've done several as a cop, and they were gruesome enough. Prying a helmet out of a set of duallies, with the owner's head still inside was bad enough. And being one of the boats looking for pieces of challenger (USS FLorida) was pretty tough too.
