Things That Don’t Add Up
Apparently night cafe’s AI can’t figure out what a green eyeshade is... Sigh
The things that don’t add up are legion, but I’m going to just talk about a few of them today. Dinner tonight is Chicken Alfredo, You know where the drinks are, and please don’t forget the tip jar where we collect for the mess. Let’s begin!
Among the many things that don’t add up, we’ve got this shit right here
:
It seems that the Antifags have set up a checkpoint at 32nd and Cedar in Minneapolis, where they’re checking people’s ID and not letting people drive into the area, based on their own inexplicable criteria. https://x.com/CrimeWatchMpls/
Now, stop me if I’m wrong, but I thought their complaint was that Borders aren’t legitimate, and that no one is illegal “On stolen land”? So they’re going to establish a boarder, and not let people in, to make sure that no one is not allowed in?
Of course, I would expect no less of a failure of logic from these guys…
On the same topic, it seems that the DNC (Democratic National Committee) has targeted Susan Collins with an add campaign against her reelection, according to msn.com//democrats-target-susan-collins It seems that she had the audacity to support a budget that included money for Homeland.
Mind you, this is the same Susan Collins, who, though she has an “R” after her name, has voted against the Republican agenda 76% of the time. Yes, that’s right, she votes against her party more than anyone except possibly John Fetterman.
Hell, if I was the RNC I would embrace this, and use it as an opportunity to replace her in the primaries. If ever there was a RINO, it’s Susie, so please, DNC help get rid of your best ally in the Republican party.
The problem with all of the anti-Somali crap, is that we’ve hit the Poe’s law wall. You literally can’t tell sarcasm, or parody, from reality. There’s this piece that hit my feed this morning:
“ 67 dirty cops on drug cartel payroll, Somali city councilman same, $94 million laundered through public contracts. Seattle Police Dept. in on it, King County Sheriff in on it, medical examiner in on it, State Patrol in on it.
$34 million in fraudulent grants, to 29 organizations with no addresses, vendors registered days before receiving big payments.
Millions in consulting fees - for zero deliverables.
Money moved through shell accounts in other states: Wyoming, Delaware, crypto exchanges, then Dubai.
Sheriff received payoffs; State Police received payoffs.
One police officer tried to report all, her body found in Puget Sound. Medical Examiner paid $34,000 from the account a few weeks later. Death: “accidental drowning”.
Somali Councilman had hidden room behind office, climate controlled, found $4.7 million in cash. He had 14 passports, under different names.
In bunker in basement, he had servers with real time access to Seattle databases.
Up to 9 murders - seemingly of people who got in the way. Seattle Washington.”
So, truth, fiction? At this point, who the hell knows. The press, especially in places like Seattle, can’t be counted on to cover anything that harms “their side” and their side most surely includes the government of King County and Seattle City.
Contrary wise, the “Blogosphere” can’t be counted on not to lie or embellish anything that makes the Democrats, and left look bad. There’s enough foreign money involved in pitting American against American that you absolutely can’t trust anything that comes out of a blogger’s keyboard either, without receipts.
If you know the guy or gal, and have been following his work for a long time, like oh say, CDR Sal, Julie Kelly, or Tom Knighton, then I can give the benefit of the doubt most of the time… But if it’s unattributed, or of questionable attribution, you gotta take that shit with a grain of salt the size of Gibraltar.
Not only may they be someone who is not who they seem to be; and there’s a shitload of that going on right now, with “American” strong right wingers, and strong left wingers who turn out to be sending their stuff in from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and West Taiwan, (PRC). But then there’s the well-meaning but gullible, that see something and run with it, that turns out to be a hoax. Even some of the best fall for this shit, No less of a commentator than Larry Correa (IYKYK) has had to issue a retraction after discovering that he got taken. The bullshit is so heavy out there right now, that you WILL get got, if you haven’t yet, it’s just a matter of time.
And see, that’s part of the strategy for the foreign actors: If you can be put in a position where you don’t believe anything, and feel like you don’t really know anything, they’re half way to their goal.
What’s their goal? That should be obvious. The diminishment of the USA as a power. We are in their way you see. For all our faults, and there are many, we are still the main force for freedom in the world. If you can’t understand that freedom is the antithesis of everything that the Caliphate and CCP wants for the future of the world, well, you’re in the wrong place. Wouldn’t you be happier watching The View, or Sesame Street?
I found a new (to me) blogger the other day, “Unlicensed Punditry” by Michael Smith. You should give him a try, he had a nice piece this week at michaelsmith.substack.com/p/you-dont-become-a-citizen-by-hiding discussing the confusion between Immigrants, and Illegal Aliens. Go take a look, the man does good work.
He did another piece worth looking at here:
discussing the way the left is losing their minds over the fact that half of ICE and the Border Patrol are Hispanic, because “they’re race traitors.”
You know, I’m old enough to remember the last time the Democrats called someone a “race traitor.” They were wearing hoods at the time, and talking about white women marrying black men, and white men marrying black women. (Mind you, it was OK from the KKK perspective to fuck a black woman, but don’t MARRY her for Gods sake.)
It’s also sort of funny that the left is screaming that not only was one of the guys that shot Pretti “Hispanic desperately trying to be white” but the other one was “The World’s most obvious Closet Case.”
Gosh, I thought the left loved and approved of gays? I guess that’s only when you can’t use it as a pejorative? See minorities, sexualities other than straight, etc… Those are okay as long as they stay on the reservation, and vote, act & think in approved party fashion. But step off that reservation, and we send the cavalry after you.
A while back I started following The Everyman Commentary, which seems to mostly serve as a forum for Guest Posts by SMEs in various fields. These vary from stuff on the military, to religion, current events, science, foreign affairs… pick a topic, they probably have done something on it. I’ll readily admit that some of it is not my cup of tea, when they start getting into religion, and examination of the politics within various Large Religious Organizations (like oh say the RCC) or protolyzing for a particular faith, well, it’s easy to find the delete button. On the other hand, we have stuff like this:
Which makes the subscription worth the bother.
It seems like this must be Space week, (GREAT!) because CDR Sal did a piece on space too, albeit from a Naval and Military perspective (Duh, who’s surprised here?) /old-and-busted-air-supremacy-new hotness Orbital Supremacy Ronny Reagan’s Star Wars initiative LIVES. Look, the concept of “keeping our conflicts inside the troposphere, Space for all mankind” was adorable.
Like little kids believing in the Easter Bunny is adorable.
It’s sweet, it’s charming, it’s about as real world as asking Santa to bring you a live unicorn for Christmas. Or thinking that the UN is actually going to stop a war from happening.
When Dwight Eisenhower decided not to militarize space, Mao, Kruchev, and the rest of the world applauded like energizer bunnies. All the while giving their scientists a blank check to get as much weaponry into space as they could get away with.
What’s that you say? Yeah, you with the UCLA shirt. “But WE HAVE A TREATY, Everyone PROMISED!”
Tch, tch, tch. Oh you sweet, sweet summer child. Tell you what, give me a five thousand word essay on the effectiveness of international treaties, in stopping aggression, bad behavior, and destructive impulses, with particular attention to the Versailles treaty, the London Naval treaty, and the Mutual Nonaggression Pact, but feel free to add in the Peace of Paris, and the Paris Peace Accords, as well as any other international treaty you care to touch on.
“Diplomacy frequently consists in soothingly saying “Nice doggie” until you have a chance to pick up a rock.” (various attributions) Here’s the thing, Asat weapons are already in orbit. The PRC and Russia have both tested them. These are not “soft kill” weapons, they’re “Knock that shit out of the sky” stuff. It’s past time we got our heads out, and realized that if you’re the only one following a treaty, you’re a chump.
And you’re soon going to get chomped.
Ask the UK how well the nice little battleships they built following all the rules of the London Naval Treaty faired when they met the Bismarck, assuming anyone in those poor benighted islands remembers their history… I’ll bet Amelia could tell you. (IYKYK)
Hey, remember the kid that was left on the street corner while daddy hightailed it one step ahead of ICE? The kid whose remaining family refused to take him in, leaving ICE holding a 5 year old and trying to find someone to watch him?
Well, in the most ridiculous ruling by a Democrat appointed judge to date, we have Judge Biery, seventy something years old, appointed by Clinton (yes the same Clinton that will be testifying about his visits to Epstein Island) who just ruled that the Federal Government must release the father to care for his abandoned kid. Now this ruling is just chock full of things that should appear in blog posts, not in the reasoned discourse surrounding a judicial finding; like for example:
“Observing human behavior confirms that for some among us, the perfidious lust for unbridled power and the imposition of cruelty in its quest know no bounds and are bereft of human decency. And the rule of law be damned.”
“Apparent also is the government’s ignorance of an American historical document called the Declaration of Independence. Thirty-three-year-old ThomasJefferson enumerated grievances against a would-be authoritarian king over our nascent nation. Among others were:
1. ‘He has sent hither Swarms of Officers to harass our People.’
2. ‘He has excited domestic Insurrection among us.’
3. ‘For quartering large Bodies of Armed Troops among us.’
4. ‘He has kept among us, in Times of Peace, Standing Armies without the consent of our Legislatures.’
‘We the people’ are hearing echos of that history.” (spelling errors in original) If this feels like it’s taken out of context, you would be correct.
There’s several more wonderful little bits of “Cutesiness” but the absolute topper is the closing comment:
“With a judicial finger in the constitutional dike, It is so ORDERED. SIGNED this 31st day of February, 2026.”
THE 31ST OF FEBRUARY, 2026.
This isn’t the handwritten notes version either. This is the PUBLISHED, OFFICIAL order. Yeah. They are that stupid.
Now, how dikes, even constitutional ones, feel about this ancient relic putting his finger in them, well, I’m not sure, but damn.
Well, time for dinner, let’s wrap this up.
QOTD today is special, we have two of them, one modern, one old: “Hillary Clinton just penned a column for the Atlantic on ‘MAGA’s War on Empathy’ because, when one thinks of empathy, one thinks of her. From dismissing women raising sexual assaults as ‘bimbo eruptions’ or her chilling Benghazi testimony, Clinton is empathy personified.”
