We’re a piratical lot, much like “Porter’s Pirates” the nickname my first submarine crew carried with pride. We also received MUCs, (Meritorious Unit Citation) PUCs (Presidential Unit Citation) Battle Es and Expeditionary medals, so being piratical didn’t keep us from being successful.
